The Shepard Fairey exhibit is coming down, bit by bit. The show ended and, while many venues have left their art up, some have chosen to remove the work on their walls. Two pieces were removed earlier, one because the venue’s owner deemed it inappropriate and one, no one knows why.
Today Frank and I went to eat a a new Vietnamese restaurant in Findley Market and then walked up to one of the posters I hadn’t gotten yet. The Huey Newton stands guard to the entrance of Findley.
On the other side of Findley Street is a bit of graffiti that is also appropriate for this corner.
