Over the past few weeks, we have gotten up to find the small round bird feeder on the ground. Frank raised it a bit and this last time seems to have worked, unless our night visitor brings a ladder.
One funny thing we have noticed. When we rehang the feeder, there is corn in it. We don’t put corn out so evidently some one is putting corn kernels in to save. I suspect it is one of our woodpeckers or perhaps a nuthatch. Our maybe he/she just wants to share.
Last weekend I spotted a Baltimore Oriole in our yard. Alas, I have not seen him since.
