Shawnee Lookout

Frank and I enjoy visiting Native American sites here in the Ohio.  While the sites are not as spectacular as the Southwest, they touch us and remind us that there were people here long before us.

Today we explored Shawnee Lookout which we visited some years ago and had pretty much forgotten.  This week an email from my brother’s wife reminded us about this site so we decided to return.

Today is a hazy day and the leaves obscured our view but it was a good day for a walk in the woods and we plan to go back in the fall when the leaves have fallen and the sky is crisp and clear.
